8pm 245 W Main $5Zoo City Apparel hosted a many a shows including Houston's Muhammadali. No strangers to Missoula these guys have played shows with Japanther, Death Set, Broken Water and Unfun as well as a spot on this years Awesome Fest. The show last year was pretty amazing as well as when they played at the Missoula art Museum with Japanther during Total Fest past...so we don't expect this to be any the less!
Missoula's SHRAMANA featuring two of KBGA's best and most supportive staffers will come out and throw some metal in our face along with the two piece heavy ensemble of SWAMP RITUAL.
After that our friend Paul with Perpetual Motion Machine, who has releases by Kowloon Walled City and Get Gad, asked us to help with a show for Richmond's WINDHAND. Windhand has members of Face Down in Shit who played Jay's back in the day. Relapse is not only taking over Portland but is signing a ton of awesome bands from around the states. Come out and support this killer band and maybe more Relapse stuff will come our way.

Monday is trivia night with our friend Tom from SHAHS so come on down at 8:30 try to win $75 dollars and then take in an amazing show afterwards. Missoula's SHRAMANA featuring two of KBGA's best and most supportive dj's will throw some metal in our face along with the two piece heavy ensemble of SWAMP RITUAL.
Later that week will be hosting a show at The ZACC Below. Missoula's only ALL AGES venue The ZACC is filling a void that we may or may not realize we need. Kids need to rock, too! So here are the particulars:
RVIVR
THE WHOOPASS GIRLS
64 TUNA
@THE ZACC BELOW
235 N 1st St $5 All Ages
235 N 1st St $5 All Ages
RVIVR are no strangers to Missoula, they come through consistently and have made many a friends in and around the area. They as well as Erica herself have new records out on their label Rumbletowne. Make sure to check out other great releases like DIVERS, AGATHA, DOGJAW...RVIVR is not the only good record they have released.
Also on this show are Missoula's The Whoopass Girls. From the days of playing acoustic guitars to a full band these lads have moved fast and are just getting better. 64 Tuna may not be as well known in some of the cycles in Missoula but in an age of dub-step it is so refreshing to see some young kids picking up some instruments and playing for our enjoyment and their own of course.
Here is a video of the young lads of 64 Tuna will the ZACC Gallery's own head mistress Kia...enojoy
MONDAY SEPT 23RD
PRISSY CLERKS
SHAHS
COPILOT EYEDROPS
@ THE BADLANDER
Missoula is well familiar with Tacocat so when their friends get in touch with us here we like to help out. This time it is Minneapolis' Prissy Clerks. At first listen this took us back to the days of Sleater Kinney. Pavement also comes to mind with former members of Busy Signals, Total Babe and Red Pens.
This will be a FREE show but we would like to encourage donations. Missoula's SHAHS will be playing this bill and have come to be a four piece band with a couple awesome additions they have become one of our favorite Missoula acts. Also on the bill is a fairly new band in Missoula's Copilot Eyedrops.

Total Fest past has brought us some great bands through town... so much that we may forget about some and vaguely remember some when they have not come around in awhile. Two bands that may fall into this that should be remembered are Le Force and Black Elk...for whom have spawned LORD DYING....thus

The Beat otherwise known as The Paul Collins Beat will be coming through. For those of you not familiar Paul Collins may be a power pop god. The Nerves were his former band with Peter Case and was also in the slightly lesser known the Breakaways. Put on your dancing' shoes for this power pop explosion.
The Maxies are returning for the show after opening for Real Big Fish at The Wilma last year.
It is not known as to their identities but rumor has it a member of Lookout Records artist Squirtgun is in The Maxies. Click the links for videos of past bands
Stay tuned as we will update this as a few more shows get set and announced such as Quintron, The Maxies, Lord Dying and Kylesa! Thanks for reading and hope to see you at the shows! Also, Green Noise appears to have a GDBH 7 inch left in stock click the link in the left blog column to take you there.
